Here are a few snippets from my Blanket Fort Birthday. Bill and I spent our Saturday turning our entire living room (and half of the bedroom) into a giant blanket fort. Using only rope, binder clips and eye-hooks we constructed a frame and draped the walls to form our tent. It worked out quite nicely, I think it is going to be semi-permanent fixture of our home.
"We spent our whole lives being told that blanket forts are
only for special occasions like sleep-overs
and when uncles die. That's a lie, Annie.
You can live in a fort of blankets all day, every night."

ReplyDeleteOH MAN ELLE! You have really outdone yourself this time. I will forever be jealous of everyone who attended this gathering. SO AWESOME. I LOVE IT.
ReplyDeleteI wish you were there MRB. I am reducing it slightly (to just the living room). Maybe I will keep it up until you come to LA again!
