I have been an admirer of Bjorn Copeland's incredibly detailed collages and drawings for quite some time. I was surprised tonight to find out tonight that he is a member of the band Black Dice, who I saw open for Animal Collective at the Sunshine in Albuquerque this summer. Their music is really experimental, a bit too much for my taste at times. Its just weird how everything seems to overlap...

i love this one. just extracted parts of the existing dollar. not really practical for actual currency, but very beautiful.

how i passed time at work today.

my boss' kids got me a webkinz pet. she is a robin & her name is sadie. I decorated her room and got her a skateboard and a trampoline for her treetop balcony. now the under 12 crowd thinks i am really cool.

These images are from an actual page advertising The Office at nbc.com. People can submit photos of their Dwight bobblehead, like the traveling gnome. I am kind of jealous because I wish I had one. He could sit on my desk with my R2D2 figurine.... but really, Dwight doesn't trust computers.
